Cape Cod Intergroup  Keynotes from 9/7/2024 Meeting

1. The 2024 Cape Cod Annual Retreat “Happy, Joyous and Free” is Sunday, September 22, 2024,
   9:00 am to 3:30 pm at Camp Greenough Scouting Camp.

• Representatives are asked to bring flyers to in person meetings.
• Please encourage members to come and to register.
• Registration is helpful but not required for attendance.
• Remind attendants to bring a chair and lunch.

2. The Treasurer will be making a quarterly donation of $300 to World Service and $100 to Region
   in September.
   Remind members if they make a 7th step donation through Paypal to specify
   which OA meeting to credit.3. CCI OA had an informational booth at the Cape Cod Symposium on Addictive Disorders on September 5-7. Attendees could ask questions, obtain pamphlets and get a CCI OA pen!
   Professionals from all over the country were introduced to Overeaters Anonymous, some for the first time! Thanks to the PI/PO committee and event chair Barbara, it was a fabulous way to
   spread the OA message!

   4. CCI will be holding a workshop focusing on Service and facilitated by the Region 6 Chair and a
   WSO Trustee on Sunday, November 10 from 1:00-4:00 pm.
   This event will be virtual. This workshop will be widely advertised. Details will be announced soon.

   5. Online registration for the Region 6 Convention in Nashua, NH on October 25-27 is still open.

   6. Representatives, please announce that nominations for intergroup service positions will be
   made at the October monthly intergroup meeting and elections will be held at the November monthly intergroup meeting.
